oneclick launches the Cloud Resource Manager

[oc_spacer height=”15″]oneclick AG has today announced the launch of new system integration tool, Cloud Resource Manager. It is now possible to provide virtual machines in the data centres of well-known IaaS providers directly from the oneclick™ platform via the Cloud Resource Manager.

The first data centres made available via the platform are those of Microsoft Azure. Soon data centres of other IaaS providers will follow, such as OVH, ProfitBricks, Wortmann Cloud, Amazon Web Services and IBM Bluemix. oneclick™ communicates via the interfaces of the providers for automated deployment and administration of cloud infrastructure.

“With the Cloud Resource Manager, we wanted to make cloud infrastructure easier to consume“, explains Florian Bodner, CIO of oneclick AG. “A big hurdle for many companies is still the complexity of the portals of many cloud providers. It requires extensive technical skills to administer IaaS resources. When using oneclick™, the set-up is viable with a few clicks and without the need for specialist knowledge.“

The Cloud Resource Manager is aimed at organisations, who would like to complement their existing environment quickly and without great effort. In no time, hybrid cloud concepts are implemented via oneclick™. Infrastructure resources from the cloud lower total operational costs, offer high availability, scalability and flexibility. Using oneclick™, systems integrators are able to expand their offer with cloud services, managed workspaces, managed desktops and managed applications.

It is possible to quickly install software applications on the established cloud infrastructure and deploy them immediately for the users in a workspace in the browser. Depending on user behaviour, virtual machines can be switched on or off automatically. Safeguarding has also been a vital consideration. The extensive security mechanisms of the oneclick™ platform are available ‘As-a-Service’ and protect the newly created cloud resources. oneclick™ isolates the environment reliably from the internet and already contains all the components of a DMZ, such as firewall, virtual private network (VPN), application delivery control (ADC), proxies as well as identity and access management (IAM). Organisations also save considerable working hours and costs.
