The European cloud alternative IONOS cloud and oneclick, vendor of a platform for the provision of digital workspaces, have agreed on a close technology partnership. Customers of IONOS cloud and oneclick can now access a turnkey infrastructure of virtual desktops (VDI) from a 100% GDPR compliant cloud.
With a virtual desktop, users can access pre-configured applications or store files from any end device via the browser and thus work remotely via high-performance streaming without a VPN connection.
oneclick™ interfaces with the IONOS cloud Compute Engine and provides comprehensive automation tools and a management, delivery and security layer for ready-to-use VDI environments.

Using the oneclick™ cloud platform, users can read existing environments from the IONOS Compute Engine, create networks without specialist knowledge and create and manage new remote desktops. Customers can also implement hybrid workplace concepts in which certain applications are operated in the IONOS Compute Engine while other applications and data remain locally in the customer’s own data centre.
