Licensing & Pricing
What does licensing cost for a multi-user environment?
If you want to implement a multi-user environment based on Microsoft Windows RDS, both Microsoft and we recommend “per user” licensing. Each accessing user requires a valid Microsoft access licence (CAL or SAL).
Either RDS CALs with active Software Assurance have already been purchased for these users, or they can be licensed on a monthly basis via RDS SALs.
RDS SAL licences cost EUR 8.99 per user per month plus VAT and can be purchased together with oneclick™ App Licences. In that case, licensing is automatically compliant with Microsoft terms and the purchase of RDS CALs incl. Software Assurance is not required.
More information about Microsoft licensing can be found in this article.
Where can I buy oneclick™ licenses?
You can purchase oneclick™ licenses directly in the system or via our sales team.
Are there special prices for educational institutions?
We are happy to support educational institutions with an individual offer.
How does software licensing work?
As in other environments, you need licences for the software you want to deploy via oneclick™.
- Microsoft products can be purchased directly from oneclick™.
- Other software that is not integrated must be licensed directly through the vendor.
What are the cancellation periods for oneclick™ licenses?
The annual subscription can be cancelled with three months’ notice before the end of the term. Otherwise it renews for another year.
The monthly subscription can be cancelled with three days’ notice before the end of the term. Otherwise it renews for another month.
Is there a minimum purchase requirement for licenses?
No. oneclick™ can be ordered starting from just one licence.
What does the delivery of software in oneclick™ cost?
To deliver software using oneclick™, you need:
- Infrastructure — your own servers or cloud servers (Azure, AWS, etc.), sized for your users. Prices vary by provider and requirements. We are happy to advise you.
- Microsoft Windows licences, if the infrastructure requires Windows.
- oneclick™ User and App Licences for delivering applications or desktops. If your software has no own file storage, the Professional User Licence (incl. Hybrid Drive App) is recommended.
We also work with infrastructure maintenance partners.

Are Microsoft operating system licenses included in oneclick™?
What are concurrent licenses (usage-based billing)?
oneclick™ user and app licences can also be billed on a concurrent basis.
Billing is based on the monthly peak – the highest number of simultaneous accesses.
This model is efficient if less than half of your users work at the same time, or users have many apps but rarely use them simultaneously.
Concurrent oneclick™ User Licences
- Professional: small base fee + surcharge for peak usage (incl. Hybrid Drive)
- Basic: no base fee, only pay for concurrent peak users
Concurrent oneclick™ App Licences
You pay only for the number of simultaneously opened apps. Limits can be set to control costs.
We will gladly advise you which model suits your requirements best.
