It is a combination of multiple factors which can transform a good idea into a ground-breaking innovation. This experience shapes our self-image to this day:

oneclick™ – accessing the unlimited.

A good idea is rarely a sudden inspiration, but often the result of real problems that have to be overcome. The stationery workspace is an obsolete model: Work environments are subject to continued change and knowledge workers are often on the move. Also oneclick’s founders faced these types of challenges in their previous professional careers:

  • How can centrally hosted applications easily be made accessible for distributed locations and mobile staff?
  • How can IT security be guaranteed with increased mobility?
  • How can employee satisfaction be raised through a future-oriented usability?
  • How is it possible to implement a simplified and cost efficient IT administration?

This resulted in the formation of oneclick in 2014, which today supports organizations of all sectors and sizes with the digitalization of their business processes. oneclick works together with end customers, the public sector, associations, distributors, cloud marketplaces, IT service providers, independent software vendors and systems integrators. Our service delivery and service support is set up according to ITIL and BSI. Certifications, awards and references of satisfied customers validate our claims regarding integrity and security.

The headquarters of oneclick AG is in Zurich, Switzerland. Development and support are based in Prien/Chiemsee, Germany. So far, own sales offices exist in Great Britain and the USA. To date a dedicated team of 25 experts work around the clock on the success of the Workspace Provisioning & Streaming Platform, which enables the device-independent delivery of on premise installations as well as cloud services and websites into a 100% web-based desktop in the browser. A drive for continued improvement and new innovation characterises the oneclick team’s daily activities.

A Journey through Time with oneclick

Since the foundation of oneclick many progresses were achieved. Important milestones and significant highlights of the present company history characterize the development of the organization.
Foundation of OC Development GmbH in the LKZ in Prien, Germany, October 2014

In their previous employment, Dominik Birgelen, Florian Bodner and Mathias Meinke were always faced with difficulties during the delivery of applications to different locations.

The oneclick™ vision was conceived to solve this problem and in October 2014, the start-up ‘oc Development GmbH‘ was created to implement it. The founders discovered the ideal site conditions in the Logistik-Kompetenz-Zentrum in Prien/Chiemsee in Germany.

Establishment of oneclick AG, August 2015

In August 2015, oneclick AG with headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland, was founded for the strategic development of the company.

Dominik Birgelen now leads the management of the operation as CEO. Together with Florian Bodner (CIO) and Mathias Meinke (CTO), they form the management of the corporation. Bodner and Meinke remain managing directors of the 100% subsidiary oc Development GmbH.

Official Launch of the oneclick™ Application Delivery and Streaming Platform, March 2016

Following comprehensive preparation, development and beta tests, the official launch of the oneclick™ Application Delivery & Streaming Platform was announced in March 2016 in time for CeBIT.

First Awards for oneclick™, April / May 2016

Shortly after introduction to market, the first award was won in April 2016 with the Innovation Award IT in the category “Best of Cloud Computing”.

In addition, oneclick™ was chosen in May 2016 as one of 40 companies for the finale of the annual FINAKI IT Innovation Summit to present the innovative platform to a distinguished jury and a broad industry audience.

Expansion of Office Facilities in Prien, June 2016

Due to the continued growth of the business and an increase in staff numbers, the office facilities of oc Development GmbH in Prien/Chiemsee were expanded.

Since June 2016, the main development work and customer support is delivered from Bernauer Street 16 in Prien.

Own Office in the UK, September 2016

The establishment of a subsidiary in the United Kingdom provided the foundation for further internationalisation.

With its own presence in Great Britain and a local director for business development, oneclick meets the demands of local customers and reseller partners to strengthen its commitment.

New distribution contracts concluded, February / June 2017

In the first half of 2017, new distribution contracts with ALSO, Vanquish and Acmeo were concluded.

Thanks to the distribution partner ALSO, oneclick™ is now available in more than 15 countries. In addition, oneclick™ became one of the selected manufacturer partners of VANQUISH, a Value-Added Distributor for 2,500 IT-retailers in the DACH-region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland). A Value-Added Distributor which has received several awards, acmeo is one of the retailers of the oneclick™ solution in the DACH-region.

oneclick wins Start-up competition, May / July 2017

The oneclick AG was awarded the ALSO Startup-Award and the OC Development GmbH was honoured with the TOP 100-seal in July 2017.

In the annual competition for the crown for ‘Best Start-up’, oneclick AG was able to compete successfully against many competitors and won the ALSO Start-Up Award. Additionally, oneclick’s development company was confirmed as leading innovator of Germany’s mid-size sector with the award of the TOP 100-seal.

Strategic partnerships enrich oneclick™, June / July 2017

oneclick’s portfolio of services is extended by strategic partnerships with Sogeti, Printix and Anovis.

Through the integration of Printix, any local network printer can be operated via the oneclick™ platform. Anovis provides and services next-generation firewalls for highly-secure connection of server locations and in collaboration with Sogeti, hybrid infrastructure concepts are implemented.
