Gartner® Predicts 2024: build a sustainable and collaborative digital workplace infrastructure

100% Browser operated 3D applications

[oc_spacer height=”15″]The oneclick™ Platform enables mobile access to computationally intensive 3D applications, even from thin clients. From now on, the oneclick™ platform offers full 3D support and supports all CAD / 3D applications 100% in the browser. The computing and graphics power, as well as rendering, are performed by the data centres of Microsoft Azure, which allows less powerful end devices to utilise resource intensive software. You now no longer require expensive CAD / 3D workspaces. Via the oneclick™ platform, users can access CAD / 3D applications provided to them from anywhere and with any device, irrespective of whether they are at an airport, at a customer’s, in another branch or their home office.

oneclick™ uses the latest streaming technology for transmission and this guarantees smooth working, even with low bandwidths. There are two options to provide CAD / 3D applications. Either existing server locations in in-house data centres are connected to the oneclick™ platform and the available CAD / 3D applications are streamed for users in a workspace in the browser. Or suitable virtual machines are set up directly via the oneclick™ platform, equipped with the desired CAD / 3D software and deployed. With the Cloud Resource Manager, oneclick™ also has interfaces to the data centres of well-known Infrastructure-as-a-Service providers such as Microsoft Azure. Here, businesses benefit in particular from the Azure N series instances, which are rolled out in a simple, quick and secure way using oneclick™. The virtual machines of the Azure N series are supported by NVIDIA®-GPUs and offer customers as well as developers access to industry leading, accelerated computer and visualisation environments. Application areas range from graphics rendering, video processing and remote visualisation to high performance computing.

oneclick™ enables its users the necessary flexibility to meet today’s needs regarding productivity, mobility and security.
