Recognized for Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute

Oneclick, a leading and innovative provider of Desktop as a Service solutions, today announced that it has been positioned by Gartner in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Desktop as a Service.[1] The evaluation was based on specific criteria that analyzed the company’s overall Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute.

oneclick™ platform upgraded performance in 2024 with new streaming protocol

The oneclick™ platform has been continuously upgraded, with the most notable development being its new streaming protocol rolled out in summer of 2024. The streaming protocol, which is a vital factor in determining the user experience, is available to all users at this point. It guarantees optimal performance on all end devices as it requires only reduced bandwidths for standard office applications as well as those requiring high computing power, such as CAD or design work. It also enables in-platform native videoconferencing using tools such as Microsoft Teams with standard enduser bandwidth.

Dominik Birgelen, CEO of oneclick AG: “We are very proud to have been identified in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Desktop as a Service as the only manufacturer with European roots. Our strong focus on developing our solution as well as our solid organizational and business growth as well as the contribution of our partners over the last twelve months gives us confidence in the strength of our offering.”

The underpinnings of the Magic Quadrant

According to Gartner Research Methodologies, “A Gartner Magic Quadrant is a culmination of research in a specific market, giving you a wide-angle view of the relative positions of the market’s competitors.” As per Gartner, “A Magic Quadrant provides a graphical competitive positioning of four types of technology providers, in markets where growth is high and provider differentiation is distinct:

  • Leaders execute well against their current vision and are well positioned for tomorrow.
  • Visionaries understand where the market is going or have a vision for changing market rules, but do not yet execute well.
  • Niche Players focus successfully on a small segment, or are unfocused and do not out-innovate or outperform others.
  • Challengers execute well today or may dominate a large segment, but do not demonstrate an understanding of market direction.”[2]
